Hermetically Sealed Transformers

As the name suggests, this transformer does not utilise any liquid in its windings and core for cooling and insulation. A dry-type transformer uses solid insulation and cooling materials like cast resin. The most common solid insulation material used in these transformers is epoxy resin.
